A front portico with new siding and window trim adds some formality and traditional design detail to the front facade
Working with Brion Design we renovated the living room and front hall to create a more open and spacious feel
As part of the renovation, we expanded the dining room. Built-ins now flank the front window and the open view to the living room makes the space feel even larger
We removed the original stair to open up the front hall between the dining and living rooms. The new stair is now located in the addition. Keeping the original rear stone wall from the home exposed adds a great visual element with texture.
Adding on to the rear of the home allowed for a new, larger kitchen that is great for entertaining
To allow additional space in the kitchen, we cantilevered a bay into the side yard to allow room for a large sink. Skylights bring more natural light into the new space.
The kitchen and family room are open to each other. This creates a large space that is perfect for the whole family to enjoy.
A new family room has large doors and windows to the rear year to bring in ample natural light. The fireplace with built-in shelving and beamed ceiling above accent the space and tie in the traditional details.
The new master bathroom has a double vanity, freestanding tub and large glass enclosed shower.
