McDStudio offers a wide range of services for both residential and commercial clientele; here’s a list of some of the services we can offer.

Residential Services

New Homes

If you're looking to build a new home, we can help.  We can help you every step of the way; analyzing your site to find the best location, providing multiple design schemes and helping to analyze bids, select the contractor, and observing the construction until you're moved in.

Additions

Need more space and already own a home in a neighborhood you love?  We can work with you to add on to your current home.  From front porches, to sun-rooms to master suites and great rooms, we can help with whatever you need.

Renovations

Have an older home that needs more than just a fresh coat of paint?  Perhaps renovating your current spaces is the right solution for you.  Whether it be re-configuring spaces to give you a proper master suite, or turning that unfinished basement into usable space, we'd love to help make your current home a little more perfect for you.

Kitchens

The kitchen is one of the most important rooms in your home, often serving as the social hub of a home in addition to where you prepare your meals.  Renovating your kitchen is a great way to update your home and one of the best ways to add value to your home both financially and in quality of life.  By tapping into our training as licensed architects we can offer you creative solutions and design options beyond just replacing your current counter-tops and cabinets.

Bathrooms

Similar to kitchens, renovating the bathrooms in your home is a great way to add value.  Whether you need a new master bathroom, or just want to spruce up a first floor powder room, we're happy to help.

Commercial Services

Tenant Fit-Outs

If you're just starting a new business, relocating a current one, or want to update your current space, we're happy to help.   We also have experience working with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and Structural Engineers as needed to ensure your space is safe and meets all applicable building codes.

BOMA Analysis

BOMA or the Building Owners and Managers Association has developed national standards for how square footages are to be analyzed and calculated.  If you're a landlord or you're a tenant it's important to have an accurate assessment of the "rentable" square footage you're leasing to or from someone.  We can measure and document your existing space or building and analyze how that compares with the BOMA standards.

Owner’s Representative

As a commercial landlord, it's important to have your buildings full of tenants who are paying you rent.  But it's also important to ensure those spaces designed and built-out by your tenants are code complaint and maintain the integrity of the building you own.  We can help by reviewing the tenants' proposed floor plans and observing the construction as needed.  This will help to ensure that your properties maintain an attractive aesthetic quality and all the spaces are built out to minimize your liability as a landlord.
