This project was a mid century inspired renovation to create a chef’s kitchen with a new layout geared towards entertaining.  It replaced a previous kitchen that was closed off and separated from the rest of the house.  The charcoal cabinets work with the existing hardwood flooring and the walnut range hood provides a statement accent.  The renovation embraced an existing fireplace and allows the natural light from the kitchen windows to now fill the family room area as well.
